Dear AWW, I’m seeing my little sister in 5 days. She just moved to NYC for work and for the past 6 weeks, she’s been adjusting to her new life and hopefully enjoying it to the fullest.

I’ll always remember the image of the sun setting over the rice fields of rural Yunlin County, Taiwan, surrounded by laughter of the overseas and Taiwanese volunteers I worked with over the summer to teach English to an under-resourced middle school in the area.
